After the capybara ranch and lunch we finish the celebration with a walk in Sweetwater Preserve enjoying a pair of bobcats playfighting in a dry pond
To celebrate today we decide to visit Ghost Ranch Exotics to see the capybaras and other exotic animals held on this large ranch
This evening we go into Usery Park to enjoy a beautiful sunset and hike a bit before it gets completely dark
We are quite tired and everything hurts after the previous day so today we take it easy looking for Payson diamonds followed by shopping and dinner
Today we explore a remote section of the Highline Trail that is visited only rarely and has been also rerouted sometimes recently
For our Highline hike we stay two night in a cabin in Tonto Village which is quite cold especially given the near freezing conditions outside
Late afternoon we go on a sunset kayak trip on Canyon Lake exploring a beautiful side canyon and enjoying great views
Today we explore the Sycamore Creek area more in depth with a five mile hike via a road to a lost cache finding lots of birds and even a Gila Monster
We decide to use our weekly pass in full and visit the Ramsey Canyon preserve hiking to the overlook and doing some bird and frogwatching
