Sightseeing and Nature Watching along the way
Four days in Northern Ohio at the Biggest Week in American Birding festival seeing lots of warblers and other birds
In the evening we go to the public woodcock place which is quite popular with organized tours also and manage to see one after some waiting
After registering we visit the famous Magee Marsh Boardwalk full of birders and warblers and we explore it thoroughly adding quite a few warblers to our list
Our first trip is a bit of a hassle as we cannot register prior to it but we can join it luckily and then the guides are quite scattered but still we find quite a few birds
We spend four nights in a condo on the Lake Erie shore while exploring the many parks and preserves all around us for migrating birds
We try a longer hike in Usery Park today of about two miles going round the Cat Peaks and enjoying great views of the other area mountains
After the capybara ranch and lunch we finish the celebration with a walk in Sweetwater Preserve enjoying a pair of bobcats playfighting in a dry pond
To celebrate today we decide to visit Ghost Ranch Exotics to see the capybaras and other exotic animals held on this large ranch
