2025 AZ

For the last hike of the year we decide to find a few caches near Canyon Lake in an area we explored before but now has a few new caches

After a very exciting trip into the jungle we take it easy for our first trip back into Arizona with a short jaunt onto State Trust Land to find some caches

This evening we have an anniversary dinner at the historic Wrigley Mansion which has one of the fancier restaurants in Phoenix that we wanted to try

Today it is a day for exploring the Gilbert Preserve and looking for interesting birds like pelicans and shorebirds before the heat forces a retreat

After escaping the rain we spend the afternoon in Sedona enjoying the great views, eating lunch and doing some light shopping

Today we try the whole morning to escape the rain while exploring the Coconino National Forest with no luck in the end

Before checking in into our hotel we do a short hike on the Arizona Trail near Walnut Canyon barely avoiding thunderstorms and enjoying great views

Today we decide to revisit Chevelon Canyon seeing birds and antelopes and enjoying the level trail before finishing with a great steak

Today to escape the heat we hike on the Arizona Trail near the Blue Ridge Reservoir finding birds, elks and turkey on a beautiful trail

Before returning we explore another section of the Land of the Pioneers trail finding an interesting cabin and a beautiful dry waterfall
