From Erfurt we have a long drive ahead of us. It is about four hours mostly on fast highways and as the day progresses the clouds disappear and it starts to get hotter and hotter. In fact now after so many cold days we catch a heat wave, just our luck. How about a normal wave?

Arriving in Trier we find our AirBnB relatively fast and then it is time to settle in. The AirBnB is small but the living room has the reason why we have chosen it, a huge hot tub/jacuzzi. It is so huge that it takes almost an hour to fill it but it is worth it.

We also get a wine bottle gift which is nice as the wine is quite good. And we enjoy it with the hot tub, they work quite well in concert.

It also has a coffee machine, always welcome, and the table is large enough for breakfast and dinner which is also something that is not always the case. And the AirBnB is close to the downtown area and great base to explore Trier the next three days.
