We needed some reason to go to the White Mountains and what we found is a hummingbird festival at Sipe White Mountain Wildlife Area which seems interesting. Usually we go to a mushroom festival but this year it got cancelled due to the forest service not providing the necessary permits. So we plan on attending the festival from Pinetop and also look for mushrooms on our own while avoiding the expected rain. Everything goes great and overall we have a great time even though we get rained on a few times but we also find a new bird in Arizona which is quite something at this point.
