Long Weekend exploring the Patagonia area

Today is time for a short two mile loop through Usery Park with some great views before ending the day at the renovated pond
Today our major goal is attending the official opening of the Museum of the West in Scottdale with free entry and lots of events
Today is a day of exploration of both Ethiopian cuisine and the large Oddities and Curiosities Expo with some interesting exhibits
Late afternoon we explore the Arizona Trail starting from McFarland Trail with some nice views after an exhausting climb to the wilderness border
We start our outdoor day with a visit to an abandoned Forest Service Station on Sycamore Creek with some exciting buildings to explore
On consecutive days we go outside exploring Usery Mountain from different entrances and enjoying the beautiful desert
Due to the heat and other issues we are limited to a short hike today from Meridian Trailhead into the beautiful desert
Today we have time only for a short hike in Usery Park near the visitor center enjoying the feeders and the beautiful sunset views
With low temperatures we explore the Willow Creek Canyon finding a rare cache and enjoying the impressive canyon and a small cavern
