Reaching our secluded lodge in Tarangire NP
In the afternoon we make our way to Tarangire and then drive to our lodge deep into the interior finding animals and birds left and right

We start our safari with an exploration of Engikaret Plains using a local guide looking for the endemic Beesley’s Lark and other special birds
We spend the afternoon at Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge recuperating after the flight and exploring the beautiful grounds
Our long flight is broken up by a complimentary hotel which makes arriving in Arusha and picking up the car easier than we expected
With low temperatures we explore the Willow Creek Canyon finding a rare cache and enjoying the impressive canyon and a small cavern
We start the New Year with an exploration of the Bulldog Canyon avoiding OHVs and finding caches and birds along the way
For the last hike of the year we decide to find a few caches near Canyon Lake in an area we explored before but now has a few new caches
After a very exciting trip into the jungle we take it easy for our first trip back into Arizona with a short jaunt onto State Trust Land to find some caches
Our first guided tour is in Guyana discovering waterfalls, hidden trails through the jungle and lots of hidden birds and mammals while avoiding the heat as much as possible
After the morning birding tour we have lunch and then return to Georgetown from Lethem airport and then to the US with a late night departure
