Monte Carlo, the most famous building in Monaco

From the Car Museum we walk uphill to the Monte Carlo Casino made famous by so many movies especially the James Bond ones. It is a very popular location, maybe the most popular in Monaco with many people milling around in front of the majestic building that saved Monaco’s economy.

It seems it is quite possible to enter the building but we are tired and decide to skip that taking photos in front of the fountain and then it is time to find a place to eat dinner and rest our tired feet.

There are no restaurants nearby so we descend towards the downtown area finding a pretty, hidden church where a wedding is taking place right as we pass, interesting.

We finally find a good open restaurant that even has a place to sit for us. There are lots of options and we take our time to choose given how tired we are.

After ordering steak and prawns we wait for the dishes to arrive, which is quite fast really. And the food is very good, worth the price and full it is time to return to the car.

It is already late as we make our way back to the car and then it is time to find our way back somehow to the AirBnB through the many tunnels. At least now we are prepared and memorize the way even as the GPS again gets confused as we move through the tunnels up towards France and the Alps after a busy but surprisingly interesting and diverse day in Monaco.
