We haven’t done a long weekend trip for some time and now celebrating an anniversary it is time to explore the deep south of Arizona around Arivaca, close to the border with Mexico. We are hoping for unusual birds that are mostly seen in Mexico with the most expected one being the Thick-Billed Kingbird. And if we are really lucky we are hoping to see the very rare Masked Bobwhite subspecies of the Northern Bobwhite that was considered extinct and is now being reintroduced on the Buenos Aires NWR.
