We though about a week ago that we won’t be able to go hiking for a while but due to fortuitous circumstances we are able to already go on a short hike today. We decide on this New Year’s day to hike on State Trust land close by to our home given that it is flat and we can easily circle back if we need to.
There are also quite a few caches that we haven’t found yet here so we have a rough plan of what to do, find a few caches and then if tiring return back to the car and home.
And we do find caches, quite a few and quite interesting. Most of them have a nature theme and we enjoy exploring and finding them on this beautiful day.
And then as it gets late in the afternoon and we get tired we decide to return to the car after a nice and short exploration of this relatively secluded stretch of State Trust land.
