Alaska

Alaska is a huge state, the biggest in the US and about 15% of the whole US, with one of the lowest population sizes from all states therefore having by far the lowest population density from all US states. It has lots to see and do if you like the outdoors or beautiful landscapes and is also great for seeing and meeting the majestic wildlife that is rightfully well known for.

After years of thinking about it we finally made it to Alaska in June 2022 on a 2 week+ trip and even though it isn’t nearly enough to explore all of what Alaska has to offer we did, in our opinion, a good sampling of both wild and remote Alaska and the more touristy areas near Anchorage.
