A two day, three nights visit to the higher elevations with one day spent near Flagstaff and one on the Rim
After a night car camping on the Mogollon Rim we explore trails and dirt roads until the rain starts rolling in forcing us to leave towards Phoenix
Today we have a twelve mile hike in front of us up Weatherford Trail to Doyle Saddle on a rarely used but beautiful trail
As we leave late from Phoenix we spend the night in Flagstaff and eat a great meal at Josephine to fortify before our big climb
Two full days spent in Telluride area gave us a good idea about the major attractions here, snow covered mountains and old ghost towns
Before the long drive home we stop at the Galloping Goose Trailhead for a 1/2 mi hike finding a few caches along the way
We stop a few more times before returning to Telluride with the best overlook being one overlooking the Silverton Railroad
