We start our third day in Washigton with a visit to the White House with hordes of other people getting closer to the White House than in the previous days
We spend most of the second day exploring the expansive National Mall from one end to the other and visiting the Lincoln Memorial
Part of today’s walk is to enter and investigate the US Capitol finding rooms of famous senators and walking on the corridors where history has been written
We stop for a short visit at the Postal Museum that is surprisingly interesting with a few events besides the expected stamps and an unexpected Hindenburg exhibit
During our few days in Washington DC at a conference we explore the streets thoroughly moving from attraction to attraction while exploring a few more in depth
Today we explore the Mogollon Rim visiting two abandoned cabins and enjoying the fall colors and great views
Returning from Africa our first trip is north of Flagstaff to explore an area of volcanic cones with a focus on the SP Crater one of the more famous ones
We spend an extended weekend at high altitudes exploring lava tubes and canyons and finding lots of caches
For the evening and the next day we find a few more caches in the area around Flagstaff with a focus on Saturn an interesting pattern created out of caches
