This Sunday we go after a trio of rarely found caches on an out of the way mesa close to Seven Springs

Today we visit the Gem and Auto shows in Quartzsite before exploring the surrounding area for the barefoot imprint

This is the month of petroglyphs as today we explore another famous site on Perry Mesa, home of the red deer

An exploration around Mineral Road finding ancient ruins and petroglyphs as well as more recent mines

Enjoying the cooler temperatures we do a longer hike on the Black Canyon Trail starting from Glorianna Trailhead seeing deer and finding caches

For the last hike of the year we choose a beautiful area off Seven Springs Road with a flowing creek and a rarely visited trail, Cave Creek Trail

Today we spend half day exploring the Sonoran Preserve and finding caches along the way

For the second weekend in a row we explore a section of the BCT this time from Glorianna TH seeing again dead cows and poorwills, deja vu

Today we decide to explore the Black Canyon Trail on a section we have not visited before from Table Mesa finding scorpions, poorwills and dead cows
