Africa was a continent full of mystery for us and given its distance from our base in the US and relatively few convenient flights one of the more difficult to explore. However when we took the plunge we discovered a beautiful continent full of history and nature that was certainly worth exploring. We certainly look forward to go on safari in a few more countries in the south and east as well visit the northern countries with their architectural marvels.

During this trip we explore Nice and the surrounding area with one set of relatives and Tenerife with another for two quite different special experiences - Our first, special, safari to Namibia and South Africa
