We are in Durham, North Carolina for a conference for a couple days that really takes most of the time and leaves little personal time. However one evening we decide to visit the North Carolina Museum of Art which is nearby and we understand is quite interesting.
There is a large classical art section with both Roman and Greek artifacts, some quite beautiful, and we enjoy our exploration especially as there aren’t many other people in the museum.
We especially like the boar’s head cup, it is quite special. And then it is time for the museum to close and we go eat dinner before retiring for the night, next day is a weekend day and we plan to explore a few more sites before returning to Phoenix.
