Exploring Ballymoney

This morning as in almost every morning in Ireland we first glance up at the sky. Will it rain all the time? Just a few hours? Will it pour or drizzle? The only question that we are not asking is if it will not rain at all because we know by now that it is impossible. Today, on our only morning in Northern Ireland, we are treated at least with a great rainbow as we eat our great breakfast and then decide to explore the small town of Ballymoney.

Maybe not really that small though as it has a Tesco in the downtown area that we visit to buy some additional supplies. We also marvel at the weird ad where cows are trying to convince us that we should eat them. It feels like an alternate version of ads in the US where cows are trying to convince people to eat chicken instead of cows but it seems a serious ad instead.

We walk a bit more following the river in the downtown area to watch people feed the ducks and then it is time to leave our B&B and start on our short exploration of Northern Ireland.
