Similarly to the previous day after we wake up we go to explore Telluride. And we have the same goal. find a good place for breakfast. Today we find a different place with some typical US breakfast fare and fully recharged we are ready to explore the area around Telluride.
We start with a foray towards Caddis Flats to find a couple caches. They are easily found and one of them takes us to a very interesting spot, a car buried in the earth, cool.
Next we return to the planned loop and stop at the Ridgway Railroad Museum. It is a small but very interesting museum with quite a few carriages in different states of repair.
It even has another Galloping Goose and now we know what it is and how it was used. We can also see where they are still working on repairing it to the original state.
As we leave we see lots of horses on the meadows, maybe they are the replacement for all the trains that are not working anymore. We continue to see waterfalls everywhere which is quite exciting.
