We have a long drive to Kanab planned today and because the second half of the trip will pass mostly through Navajo lands we have to plan any stops in the first half of the trip. We decide on an exploration of the Stoneman Lake area with the first stop being Rarick Canyon where we hope to find some elusive petroglyphs.
We find the petroglyphs easier than expected using a nearby geocache, they are quite impressive with a panel with loads of antelopes being the major attraction for us.
