We have one more stop planned today at Las Teresitas Beach which is just north of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In order to get there we have to pass through the rush hour traffic in the capital which takes a bit but finally we make it to the beach and even find parking after some searching.
As it is almost evening we even find a nice stretch of beach that is almost empty prepare ourselves and soon are ready to enter the water.
And brrrr it is really cold in the water but after a bit of swimming we warm ourselves enough to survive for the duration of the swim. But we understand why most people are on the shore and not really entering the water. And then it is time to return to the capital with the only road being blocked for some reason and the ten kilometers take more than one hour but we make it and then soon are asleep as we are quite tired after this full day.
