Today is beach day where we go with our relatives to the closest beach which is Plage du Midi in Cannes. It is the preferred one as there is free parking close by and we even find a spot and then it is time to cross via an underpass to the beach. It is also quite popular with even some huge yachts nearby.
Over us we have many birds flying both mechanical and natural ones that we admire before we set up for the beach day.
We find a stretch that is less popular, set our stuff and then it is time to enter the water.
Under the water there are surprinsingly many fish and we make photos and explore the area as much as possible before the sun becomes too much and we decide to retreat towards a nearby historical house, the Rothschild Villa now a public building.
The Villa is quite impressive but finding the entrance is not easy, only the third one we try from the map is actually open.
We enjoy the grounds which are quite shady, something we really need after the beach. We also explore the various entrances and only the one we entered is open and search for caches on the ground also.
There are a few hiding places where people read or just enjoy the great weather, some statues and even a few ponds and water features full of lilies. And then it is time to return back to our accomodation and then explore Mougins in the evening.
