We stop at a juice bar in Kiluaea Town for something to tide us over and then search for a lunch place however there is nothing good open in the small town so we decide to continue on. We continue to the main highway but the traffic is blocked in the direction that we want to go (away from the hotel) so we change our plans and start back towards the hotel.
We stop at Kealia Beach on the way back for a short walk along the beach which is quite popular with locals that park right on the beach.
We then stop in Kapaa near some food trucks and pop up stores. We walk around a bit looking at the stores and what is on offer at the food trucks and then make a choice for lunch.
The food is surprisingly good and even the neighborhood chickens agree as they aggresively try to get at it while we eat at the picnic table.
