Last stop for our trip is at Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks NM a fascinating area with beautiful formations that is worth visiting
Our main goal for the trip is the special Bosque del Apache NWR where thousands of snow geese and other birds overwinter
On the way to the wildlife refuge we explore the San Lorenzo Canyon finding a couple of caches and enjoying the beautiful rock formations
We spend a couple hours exploring the surprisingly empty old town area of Albuquerque with a couple quirky chapels
We stay for two nights close to the University of New Mexico Campus and spend some time exploring the campus and the area
Last stop today is Winslow Arizona where we visit the famous corner featured in the Eagles song, or is it really?
This is our first stop at the Two Guns ruins an impressive site on the original Route 66 that was a zoo and also a major tourist stop
First stop on our trip to Albuquerque is near Bloody Basin Road exploring the powerline road and finding a few caches
