To meet with our relatives we have to choose a relatively cold country as they cannot stand the heat, so Finland it is. We are not sure what to expect but it is a great though exhausting visit seeing castles and old towns as well as nature, and mosquitoes, everywhere. In this trip we cross for the first time the Arctic Circle and even spend a few hours in Sweden. Overall it is a much more enjoyable and diverse trip than we expected with reindeer and capercaille and beautiful vistas everywhere and we look forward to returning in the future.
