Coming from the Verdon Gorge we arrive quite late in Nice so we decide to drive through it without stopping and stop instead in Eze. This is because we assume Eze would be a shorter stop and it is still a famous place on the Côte d’Azur.
And it is a good choice as we enjoy our walk through the old village looking at castles and old houses and just having a great time as the sun is setting
There are a few galleries open and we visit a couple of them but unfortunately we cannot find any reasonable restaurant so we decide to try again in Monaco, it is a bigger city so we have we can get lucky there.
But first we spend the sunset wathching the famous coastline, while it is beautiful it is not that different from other coastlines we have seen in our opinion. And then it is time for the short drive to Monaco were hopefully we can find some food before turning north into the mountains with no hope of food at all, as per our hotel.
