Ballybeg the Priory of Cows

After our night in Limerick our first stop is at Ballybeg Priory. This is a ruined 13th century priory of the Augustinian order. The ruins are quite interesting but the major attraction here is the dovecot, one of the best preserved and largest dovecots in Ireland.

As usual we find two cows staring at us from behind a wall. This time however they find an open door and invade our area which convinces us to beat a hasty retreat. Not really, they are quite cute but we have a few more sights to see for the day.
