This weekend we have a two nights trip planned to the Flagstaff area. As we are leaving after work on Friday we are going to stay at a hotel the first night and then we will camp the second one. Even though we leave late we take the scenic route with some stops in the Camp Verde area to find a few caches as there is still light outside.
The hotel in Flagstaff is basic and expensive but it has all the required amenities. As we arrived slightly early we decide to go outside and find something to eat for dinner.
We walk through the downtown area for a while but then we decide to go a bit off the main drag to Josephine which sounds like an interesting location.
The food is quite good even though on the expensive side and you can eat outside which is a bonus. We enjoy relaxing while we eat but then it is time to return to the hotel for the night as tomorrow we have a long hiking day planned.
