We hike to the top of this 9K+ft mountain using one of the many trails in the area which are nicely maintained but rarely used
Around lunchtime we visit Williams, the Gateway to the Grand Canyon which is a nice tourist town to spend one hour or so in
After a night in Flagstaff we spend the morning exploring a short section of old US 66 before continuing to Williams

After a night car camping on the Mogollon Rim we explore trails and dirt roads until the rain starts rolling in forcing us to leave towards Phoenix
Today we have a twelve mile hike in front of us up Weatherford Trail to Doyle Saddle on a rarely used but beautiful trail
As we leave late from Phoenix we spend the night in Flagstaff and eat a great meal at Josephine to fortify before our big climb
Two full days spent in Telluride area gave us a good idea about the major attractions here, snow covered mountains and old ghost towns
Before the long drive home we stop at the Galloping Goose Trailhead for a 1/2 mi hike finding a few caches along the way
